My Story

Hello,
Remember I promised that I would write down the story which won an iter-school competition? Here I am fulfilling it.

Mary is a wonderful story teller. Everyday she sits down to tell her granddaughter a bed-time story. They were either fictitious or stories of her childhood and family. Today she decided to tell her granddaughter a story which Mary had heard from her mother.
Mary started her story..................................

"A long time ago, in the year 1836, there were great festivities going on in the Austen household.
The four unbreakable sisters were very happy. The sisters were Jane, Maria, Miranda and Juliet.
Jane was pregnant and Maria was about to get married to the man she loved. Preparations were on in full flow. Then suddenly, one day, everything went horridly wrong. Jane's husband, Thomas, was arrested and Maria's to-be-husband, Charles, disappeared. Jane became seriously ill and Maria was crying uncontrollably. Miranda and Juliet very bad indeed for their sisters and vowed to put everything right.
First, they went to visit Thomas in prison. He kept pleading and saying he was innocent. Miranda and Juliet asked him if he had any enemies who may have registered false charges against him. Thomas replied by saying that he had no enemies and that he was loved by everyone and known as a kind and affectionate man. After this the sisters demanded to see the written charges against him from the District Magistrate. They noticed that in the file the person's name was different from that of Thomas'. The name was Thomas Scott while the one who was in prison was named Thomas Adams. When asked the gendarme who arrested Thomas Adams replied that there might have been a mistake. Very soon, the whole misunderstanding was cleared and Thomas Adams was free to go. Thus, Miranda and Juliet had solved the first case."

"Yipeee", replied Mary's granddaughter.
Mary continued ............

"Then came the question came of Charles' disappearance. This was easily solved. Only the two sisters, Miranda and Juliet, knew that Charles had an addiction for gambling and went away tp places to gamble without telling anyone. All they had to do was call up Charles' best friend and ask him where Charles was. In a matter of three minutes the case was cleared. Charles was in Southampton. Very soon All the misunderstandings had been cleared up and The Austen household was happy and jubilant once more."
"Here ends my story," said Mary.
Mary granddaughter said, " And now we can safely quote the saying the 'All's Well That Ends Well'!"

That's my story.

Yayyy!!!!!!!

Hey friends!
I'm back and I'm absolutely on seventh heaven. I was sent to an inter-school creative writing competition. And a miracle happened. I came 1st. Mine was of course a very bizarre story!
I'll write for you the next day. Promise! But I'm also sad. You may ask "why?" You just won a competition! I'll tell you. It so happens that there are exactly 5 girls in class who are talking about me. Nasty subjects, and of course trying their best to spread it around the class. Here, Krittika comes in. She's been by my side ever since this started. So, I would like to thank her.
I've made my motto. Its a rather strange. Its "IGNORE". You may say that its a very stupid motto but i have had to maintain this to retain my SANITY!
My school's summer vacation has started (thank goodness!) . I don't have anything to do and intend to study, chat with my friends, watch stupid television programs, stay online for long hours on Facebook and admire my mehendi which I'm going to get after a week's time. Rather boring, don't you think?

That's all for now folks!
