My Story

Hello,
Remember I promised that I would write down the story which won an iter-school competition? Here I am fulfilling it.

Mary is a wonderful story teller. Everyday she sits down to tell her granddaughter a bed-time story. They were either fictitious or stories of her childhood and family. Today she decided to tell her granddaughter a story which Mary had heard from her mother.
Mary started her story..................................

"A long time ago, in the year 1836, there were great festivities going on in the Austen household.
The four unbreakable sisters were very happy. The sisters were Jane, Maria, Miranda and Juliet.
Jane was pregnant and Maria was about to get married to the man she loved. Preparations were on in full flow. Then suddenly, one day, everything went horridly wrong. Jane's husband, Thomas, was arrested and Maria's to-be-husband, Charles, disappeared. Jane became seriously ill and Maria was crying uncontrollably. Miranda and Juliet very bad indeed for their sisters and vowed to put everything right.
First, they went to visit Thomas in prison. He kept pleading and saying he was innocent. Miranda and Juliet asked him if he had any enemies who may have registered false charges against him. Thomas replied by saying that he had no enemies and that he was loved by everyone and known as a kind and affectionate man. After this the sisters demanded to see the written charges against him from the District Magistrate. They noticed that in the file the person's name was different from that of Thomas'. The name was Thomas Scott while the one who was in prison was named Thomas Adams. When asked the gendarme who arrested Thomas Adams replied that there might have been a mistake. Very soon, the whole misunderstanding was cleared and Thomas Adams was free to go. Thus, Miranda and Juliet had solved the first case."

"Yipeee", replied Mary's granddaughter.
Mary continued ............

"Then came the question came of Charles' disappearance. This was easily solved. Only the two sisters, Miranda and Juliet, knew that Charles had an addiction for gambling and went away tp places to gamble without telling anyone. All they had to do was call up Charles' best friend and ask him where Charles was. In a matter of three minutes the case was cleared. Charles was in Southampton. Very soon All the misunderstandings had been cleared up and The Austen household was happy and jubilant once more."
"Here ends my story," said Mary.
Mary granddaughter said, " And now we can safely quote the saying the 'All's Well That Ends Well'!"

That's my story.

Yayyy!!!!!!!

Hey friends!
I'm back and I'm absolutely on seventh heaven. I was sent to an inter-school creative writing competition. And a miracle happened. I came 1st. Mine was of course a very bizarre story!
I'll write for you the next day. Promise! But I'm also sad. You may ask "why?" You just won a competition! I'll tell you. It so happens that there are exactly 5 girls in class who are talking about me. Nasty subjects, and of course trying their best to spread it around the class. Here, Krittika comes in. She's been by my side ever since this started. So, I would like to thank her.
I've made my motto. Its a rather strange. Its "IGNORE". You may say that its a very stupid motto but i have had to maintain this to retain my SANITY!
My school's summer vacation has started (thank goodness!) . I don't have anything to do and intend to study, chat with my friends, watch stupid television programs, stay online for long hours on Facebook and admire my mehendi which I'm going to get after a week's time. Rather boring, don't you think?

That's all for now folks!

Friends

Hi, I'm back. My next writing's on the most important factor in a schoolgirl's life. Friends. I am proud to say that I have many friends. But according to me, I have 3 very close friends. I am sure they'll stick with me in all circumstances. Here I am telling you all about them.

Comes to school everyday with a plait. She's very neat and tidy. Finishes her work on time and gets superb marks. Her greatest quality is that she will help anyone and everyone when they ask for it(especially me!). She is my best friend and her name is Akanksha Bhattacharjee.

Then comes my favourite quizzer and also my other best friend. We share two common talents between us. Those are: singing and quizzing. Now Krittika Ray(that's her name) is a bit mad. No, let me correct that. She is totally mad. She is also the bravest girl that I have seen. She can march right up to the teacher and tell very clearly that she doesn't think some of the teacher's teaching procedures are not right. Without even showing a flicker of fear. None of the others would have dared do that. And she is totally dependable. She can keep a hundred secrets.

Last, but not the least is Oishika Basak. I am 1 year older to her and we have known each other since we were babies and our mothers and fathers even before that. So we're like sisters. We do not keep any secrets from each other. We patiently hear each other out. And the fact that proves that we are very much like sisters is that we fight with each other every 15 minutes.

There I've gone and told you about my three best friends. Even though we fight a lot, I am sure that they are my very true friends.

Bye (for now)

First Day at School

Hi, I'm The Crazy Girl. There's one thing currently i can't live without. My school. I absolutely adore my school. From now onwards I am going to write all about my school life in the Diary of a SchoolGirl.

A shy girl enters clutching her water bottle in one hand and wearing her bag on her shoulders. She is very scared. On many aspects. Whether her teacher will like her, whether she will make friends and whether she would be able to fit in. The girl approaches the teacher and tells her name. She's the New Girl in class.

Classes go smoothly. During break a friendly girl offers her a ice-cream. She's absolutely thrilled. They're accepting her.

A very happy girl comes home telling her mother all about school. She doesn't let her father sit and relax. She blabbers away 24 hrs.

There I've told you all about what happened on my first day at La Martiniere For Girls!
There's absolutely no way I'm going to forget that day. It marked the beginning of a new adventure in my life

Till then,
The Crazy Girl
